At Ombersley stay on A4133 to Tenbury
•
At Red Lion Pub T-junction go right to Tenbury A443.

Keep on this road until it joins A49 (T-junction), hang a
right towards Ludow/Shrewsbury.

Go past Ludlow staying on A49, past Golf Course and
Racing Course.
•
At Bromfield you will see the Ludlow Food Centre on
your right, take next left to Knighton A4133.
•
Note sneaky right turn to Knighton just after leaving
Leintwardine
•
At Knighton stay on the road through town, past the
Offa’s Dyke Visitor Centre on your right.
•
Take next right signed to Newtown B4355.
•
Go past Knucklas, to Lloyney
•
At The Lloyney Inn turn right to Llanfairwaterdine, over
bridge (River Teme) into Shropshire (Hurrah!)

Bear left into Llanfairwaterdine.
•
Through village, stay on same road for just under a mile
until you arrive at Melin-y-Grogue which is a hamlet
rather than a village.

Melin-y-Grogue Farmhouse is on your right and you will
see a “Criggin” sign a little further on. Turn right into the
gravel drive just before you go over a small bridge over
the brook.
